This page is written in the in-universe perspective of the "Garion" series' of novels.

Kheva, son of Rhodar and Porenn, was the crown prince of Drasnia who assumed the throne upon his father's death. Born shortly after Garion's story began, Kheva was an infant throughout the tail of the Belgariad. Upon Rhodar's death, Kheva assumed the throne at age six. Because he was too young to assume the duties of king, his mother Porren ruled in his stead.

As a teenage boy, Kheva was instructed in the responsibilities he would eventually assume as king, although he slightly resents the fact that his inheritance binds him from adventuring like his friends Eriond and Barak's son Unrak. Kheva demonstrates Drasnian shrewdness in negotiations (e.g., with Yarblek on behalf of his mother) as well as cognizance of spying and hidden places.

Like his father, he showed a fondness for the color red.
