In an acting career spanning three decades in the U.S. and Canada, Mr. Linton has performed onstage in featured roles on Broadway: Von Strack/Amadeus with David Suchet, McBurney in the Royal National Theatre's Not About Nightingales with Corin Redgrave, and Dudgeon/The Devil's Disciple with Lee Richardson.
Mr. Linton has played over 30 roles in feature films such as Girlfight and last season's TransBeMan, made-for-television movies, Escape From Iran and A Gift of Time, featured roles in television series from Cagney and Lacey to Law and Order and recurring roles in television soap operas from High Hopes to All My Children.
J.P. has taken particular delight in creating sketch comedy characters from NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien to Toronto's Yuk-Yuks Komedy Kabaret.
Starting his voice acting career in Toronto on CBC Radio drama two decades ago, Mr. Linton's narration career continues daily in the recording studio. He has recorded over 200 audio books for the Library of Congress and other audio book publishers.
His live announcer engagements range from; the 2009 Adrian Awards at the Broadway Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square and the 2009 Toy of the Year Awards at Pier 60-Chelsea Piers to the 2009 Fordham University Founders Dinner at the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel and the 2009 ISES Big Apple Awards at The Lighthouse/Pier 61, Chelsea Piers, New York City.
Clients for Mr. Linton's voice-over and industrial narration talents have included: Huggies, Dunkin Donuts, Infiniti Q45 luxury cars, Rigby educational publishers, ABC News, The Wall Street Journal, Glaxo, ProClinica, McMillan Online Audio, and many others.
He lives in Manhattan with his wife Karin and their son Bryant.
